Irving, Texas, (January 23, 2007) Digispec (UPIC: DIGISPEC) of Las Vegas, Nevada, was honored with a Gold Award and a Silver Award in the 51st annual PPAI Suppliers Achievement Awards competition sponsored by Promotional Products Association International (PPAI). Fifty-four winners were recognized for manufacturing excellence at ONE, an evening of awards and entertainment held in January during The PPAI Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. A record-breaking 386 entries were submitted for consideration this year.

"Winning suppliers are honored for their superiority in craftsmanship, graphic arts, creativity, innovation and service to distributors with this award," said Steve Slagle, CAE, PPAI president and CEO. "The winners worked very hard to earn this special recognition and their commitment to excellence is a tribute to this industry."

Digispec was presented a Gold Award in the category of Special Processes Not Otherwise Categorized for SoftTouch® Plush Surface Mouse Pad and a Silver Award in the category of Most Creative Calendar for MousePaper® Calendars Mouse Pad. PPAI Awards committee members, along with representatives from the Printing Industries of America and the Jewelers Association, judged the entries according to criteria specific to each of the competition’s 25 categories.

In addition, we were also honored with the Supplier Award of Merit in the S10 category.
